The Story of Esther...

“Remember who you are. Who knows but that you
were born for such a time as this.”
Esther 4:14

Esther was a beautiful woman who knew
loneliness and suffering. When faced with a
major crisis in her life, she remembered the
strong women who had gone before her.
For three days, she struggled alone in the depths
of her spirit. There she came face to face with a
power greater than herself that gave her courage
and direction. She felt her fear and at the same
time became aware of her strength and her
freedom to decide.

Esther was a woman who let herself be challenged
to move beyond where she was
to where she could be

The Esther House Endowment Fund was established September 2004 with an anonymous donation of $22,000. The purpose of the endowment fund is to provide ongoing funding for Esther House Inc. The fund is administered by The Winnipeg Foundation. Donations are collected and tax receipts issued by The Winnipeg Foundation throughout the year. The Winnipeg Foundation also provides matching funds to the money raised each year. They contribute 1 dollar for every 9 dollars received by the endowment fund. We currently hold approximately $494,000 in our endowment fund.

Our goal is $750,000 and we are asking for support to help us reach that goal. All size of donations help move us toward that goal.

Thank you so much to:

  • Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary
  • Ashleigh Everett and Stuart Murray
